In this role, you will be responsible for developing engaging social and web-based content in support of client and internal social media plans. This is a hybrid work opportunity with both remote work and in-person work at our headquarters in Toledo, Ohio.
Responsibilities:
- Develop creative strategies that are forward-thinking and in-line with current social media trends
- Work with multiple team members to understand client and internal priorities and build strategic, impactful social media plans
- Implement a thorough editorial calendar to manage content and ensure optimized, consistent content distribution
- Write original, high-quality content for client and internal social media channels
- Lead in scheduling and management of social content and campaigns within appropriate channels
- Lead community management for all client and internal social media channels
- Manage all paid social media campaigns, including copywriting, image direction and scheduling
- Manage metrics reporting of all social content and campaigns within appropriate channels
- Improve existing content using SEO keyword research and implementation
- Report industry trends and social media news to the internal team
- Work with account reps and clients, as necessary, to directly field timely social media questions
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of social media marketing experience
- Experience in developing social media content for Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram, with an understanding of the target audiences for each platform
- Ability to quickly adapt to the ever-changing social media landscape and given scope of work of client needs
- Attention to detail and proofreading
- Ability to multitask and remain organized with multiple projects and clients while aligning with set deadlines
